Oct. 31, 2005—Tanaseybert celebrated the grand opening of its new facility Oct. 19 with an open house for clients and the press. Located at 525 West 52nd Street in New York City, the new space boasts seven floors of equipment, offices, and capabilities. The event allowed the company to show off its new digs. Tours took small groups of attendees throughout the facility to see the equipment in action, and ask questions about how jobs were created, finished, and delivered.

Because it is a 24/7 shop, live jobs were in various states of completion, giving attendees a real-world look at how the shop is run and maintained. The company runs a total of eight Heidelberg presses, and one Mitsubishi press, as well as two HP Indigo digital presses. In addition, the company has a large prepress and prep department running a variety of equipment, and a floor dedicated to various finishing capabilities.

Tanaseybert gave a sneak-peak of the facilities still under construction in April, noting at the time that the 140,000 sq.-ft. facility is the consolidation of two sites on the West Side they had been working out of.
